Reece Robinson plans to pick the mind of his new NSW Waratahs teammate Israel Folau as he bids to make a successful conversion from the NRL to Super Rugby.
Robinson has joined the Waratahs ahead of the 2016 season on a two-year deal after an eight year stint in rugby league with Brisbane, Canberra and Parramatta.
Folau stands as one of the most successful code hoppers from rugby league to rugby union and Robinson said on Monday the dual international should be a fountain of knowledge for him on how to make the jump to the 15-a-side game.
It is the first time the two have crossed paths in football. Robinson left the Broncos the season before Folau joined them in 2009.
"I am definitely keen to ask him a few questions when he does get back, he is not back at the moment but he has been going great, playing for the Wallabies and smashing it pretty much," Robinson said.

"I have enjoyed seeing blokes going from league to union playing well."
An exciting NRL three-quarter, Robinson scored 57 tries in 116 first grade games. The Lebanese international and Indigenous All Star said the Waratahs attacking brand of rugby played a key role in him making the switch.
"I have always enjoyed watching rugby, especially if it is running rugby," he said.
"I don't like too much kicking."
"The Waratahs have been one of the top teams for several years now, I'm looking forward to being a part of that and the challenge involved."
Robinson, 28, played rugby as a schoolboy at Randwick Boys High School and said he expected his reintroduction to the code to accelerate when assistant Waratahs coach Nathan Gray returns to training on Wednesday.
