Robbie Rochow is set to join the Wests Tigers as part of the joint venture's rebuild for the 2018 NRL season.

The Tigers will be the 27-year-old's third club in the space of six months after departing South Sydney mid-season to join Melbourne.

Rochow, who has played 82 NRL games across the Storm, Newcastle and South Sydney, will join the club on a two-season deal.

The former NSW Country forward was held back by injury in 2015-16, struggling to regain form and consistency since then.

He joins the Tigers hoping to resurrect his career under coach Ivan Cleary who has brought in the likes of Benji Marshall, Josh Reynolds, Russell Packer and Ben Matulino for next year.

"Robbie is an experienced player who will fit in well with the culture that we're building here at Wests Tigers," Cleary said.

"We look forward to giving him the opportunity to build on the way he started his career."
