Former world No.1 Caroline Wozniacki has made short work of local wildcard Arina Rodionova at the Australian Open.

The 17th-seeded Danish star needed just 67 minutes to oust the 27-year-old Rodionova 6-1 6-2.

It set Wozniacki up for a second-round clash with Croatian Donna Vekic, who ended the campaign of another Australian wildcard, Lizette Cabrera, 7-5 6-2.
