Disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris is due to front court on Thursday over seven counts of indecent assault against girls and women.
The 85-year-old is currently serving a five-and-a-half year jail term for similar historical sex offences.
It’s thought he will appear at the brief hearing via video link from Stafford Prison but can elect to appear in person.
It’s not clear if his wife Alwen and daughter Bindi will attend Westminster Magistrates’ Court for the preliminary session.
The new charges relate to seven complainants who were aged between 12 and 27 at the time of the alleged offences.
Britain’s Mirror newspaper reports prosecutors will claim the indecent assaults took place in theatres, radio studios and at the BBC’s former London headquarters.
“We have carefully considered the evidence gathered in relation to Rolf Harris,” a Crown Prosecution Service spokesperson said.
"We have concluded that there is sufficient evidence and it is in the public interest for Mr Harris to be charged with seven counts of indecent assault.”
Harris has strenuously denied any wrongdoing and has enraged victims by penning songs in prison in which he proclaims he is innocent and his accusers were only after his money.
He reportedly plans to release an album if freed on parole next year.
The Australian was the highest-profile figure to be convicted as part of Operation Yewtree, an investigation into celebrity sex crimes.
It was launched after the crimes of paedophile and television presenter Jimmy Saville were made public.
