Actress Rooney Mara is in talks to play Indian princess Tiger Lily in director Joe Wright's new Peter Pan film.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star is reportedly close to signing on to join Hugh Jackman and Garret Hedlund in the prequel.
Jackman will play pirate Blackbeard and Hedlund Peter Pan's arch-nemesis Hook in the origins film.
The young Pan is yet to be cast.
The movie, inspired by author J.M. Barrie's classic tale about the boy who never grew up, is scheduled to hit cinemas in the middle of 2015.
