Roosters beat Sharks in qualifying final

The Sydney Roosters have beaten Cronulla 21-12 at Allianz Stadium to go one win from the NRL's grand final.

The Sydney Roosters are one win away from the NRL grand final after they beat Cronulla 21-12 at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.

James Tedesco starred and Cooper Cronk was at his clinical best in the win, as the Sharks bombed several chances to level the match in the second half.

Cronulla will now face Penrith in next weekend's do-or-die semi-final, expected to be scheduled for Allianz Stadium on Friday night.
