Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson has hailed Mitchell Aubusson as typifying the heart and soul of the NRL club as he prepares to celebrate his 250th NRL match.

The much-loved utility will celebrate his milestone game during Friday's clash with Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.

He sits third on the Roosters' list for most games played behind club greats Anthony Minichiello and Luke Ricketson.
