Sydney Roosters forward Victor Radley pulled off a stunning try-saver but he's facing a one-match NRL ban for another massive tackle in his team's 22-20 win over Manly.

Radley is being lauded for hammering flying Manly five-eighth Dylan Walker in a one-on-one tackle to prevent a try that would have levelled the scores at 20-all in the 59th minute of Sunday's match at Allianz Stadium.

But his monster head-on hit on Manly powerhouse Martin Taupau two minutes earlier drew the attention of the match review committee on Monday and he was charged with a careless high tackle.

Unless he successfully contests the charge, Radley will miss Saturday's clash with the high-flying Warriors in Auckland.

Roosters teammate Joseph Manu was charged with dangerous contact on Walker later in the match but can escape a ban with an early plea.

Likewise, St George Illawarra star Tyson Frizell can avoid a suspension with an early guilty plea to a dangerous contact charge for a tackle on Billy Slater in the ladder-leaders' big win over Melbourne on Sunday.
