Rising Sydney Roosters star Victor Radley has been suspended for one NRL game after taking the early guilty plea for dangerous contact on Melbourne forward Christian Welch.

Radley was hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge after collecting Welch in the head late after the Storm prop passed the ball, resulting in him being sin-binned.

Radley would have avoided suspension but had 25 carryover points, meaning the Roosters utility is out of their next clash with Gold Coast.

South Sydney forward Jason Clark is the only other player to miss time after also taking the early guilty plea for his cannonball shot on North Queensland star Jason Taumalolo.

Clark was slung with a grade one dangerous contact charge after tackling the legs of Taumalolo who was being held up by two other defenders in the 66th minute in Cairns.

He will now miss the Rabbitohs' next match against Canterbury.

Wests Tigers' Michael Chee Kam (dangerous contact), the Cowboys' Shaun Fensom (dangerous throw) and Canterbury's Jeremy Marshall-King (dangerous throw) also took early pleas but won't miss any time.
