Roosters to persist with Guerra at No.6

Despite the fact they have not won a game this NRL season, the Sydney Roosters will persist with Queensland Origin back-rower Aidan Guerra at No.6.

The Sydney Roosters will again switch back-rower Aidan Guerra to five-eighth as they desperately seek a way to break their five-game NRL losing streak.

Coach Trent Robinson confirmed he would persevere with using the Queensland Origin representative in the playmaking role, with rookie Jayden Nikorima to again come off the bench against South Sydney on Friday.

With the side battered by injuries and suspension, Robinson said Guerra added much-needed experience during the early exchanges.
