West Coast have made four changes for Sunday's clash with Port Adelaide, welcoming back ruckman Scott Lycett from injury.

West Coast ruckman Scott Lycett will make his long-awaited AFL comeback in Sunday's clash with Port Adelaide.

The highly-rated big man Lycett will play his first game of the season, joining veterans Matt Priddis, Mark LeCras and Shannon Hurn in the final 22 for the Domain Stadium match.

Off-season recruit Jack Redden is among three Eagles omitted after last week's win over Western Bulldogs, while veteran Sam Butler will miss out with a hamstring complaint.

Lycett hasn't played a senior game since last year's elimination final loss to the Bulldogs.

The 24-year-old Lycett underwent knee surgery during the off-season and then dislocated his shoulder during a practice match in March.

He looms as a signficant inclusion for West Coast with star ruckman Nic Naitanui a long shot to return from knee surgery this season.

The Power have made two changes, with Jack Hombsch and debutant Joe Atley replacing Matthew Broadbent (ankle) and Jake Neade (omitted).

North Melbourne will welcome back prime movers Ben Cunnington and Trent Dumont among four changes for their clash with Fremantle at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Stephen Hill and off-season recruit Shane Kersten return for the Dockers alongside Connor Blakely.

Youngster Blakely served a club suspension last week for going surfing after he had left training early because he was sick.

Both sides have been hit by injuries, with Aaron Sandilands (hamstring) out for Fremantle and Jarrad Waite, Jamie Macmillan and Mason Wood unavailable for the Roos.

Carlton have also been dealt an injury blow ahead of their clash with Melbourne, losing impressive young defender Caleb Marchbank to a shoulder injury.

Livewire Sam Petrevski-Seton is among three inclusions for the Blues, while the Dees confirmed they will welcome back gun forwards Jesse Hogan and Jeff Garlett.

The MCG clash looms as a danger game for Melbourne, who will be without Jack Viney (foot), Dom Tyson (knee) and Tom Bugg (suspension).
