Prime Minister Kevin Rudd isn't offering a self-assessment about how he did in the last scheduled leaders' debate.
Mr Rudd said he saw the third face-off with Opposition Leader Tony Abbott in Sydney on Wednesday as an opportunity to emphasise Labor's message on building jobs and industries for the future.
Asked if he thought he won, Mr Rudd said that was a judgment for the Australian people.
"I think there was (a vote) but ask me what the numbers were, I actually don't know," he told ABC radio in Melbourne.
Mr Rudd said he liked talking to real people during the election campaign, attending events where anything could happen.

"You learn things and you cop an odd whack around the ears but that's what democracy should be about," he said.
Mr Rudd said this campaign was "tough as hell" compared to 2007.
"Mr Abbott, as you know, is one of the most formidable negative politicians in the country," he said.
