Cabcharge Australia chairman Russell Balding will step down in from the position he has held for two years in November.

Mr Balding was appointed chairman in May 2014 following the death of then chairman, chief executive and founder Reg Kermode.

Cabcharge said Mr Balding will retire from the board after the company's annual general meeting on November 24 and a search is on to find his replacement.
