"We won't be changing massively the things we'll be looking to do based on one injury. We've got a style of play we want to adhere to," Seymour told reporters.
Duncan Weir had been called up over the weekend as cover while Adam Hastings and Peter Horne are also in line to start in Russell's absence.
"Finn has been playing really well and it's a shame, but these guys are fully capable of executing the game plan," Seymour added.

"I have full confidence that all three of our 10s can come in and play very well. They're all experienced at this level."
Scotland are third in the standings behind England and Wales after beating Italy in their opener and losing to holders Ireland.
