Russian embassy in Damascus shelled twice

There have been no injuries after the Russian embassy in Damascus was shelled twice.

The Russian embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus has been shelled twice in as many days but no one was hurt, Russia's foreign ministry says.

It said one of the shells hit the space between an office and residential housing, and another exploded 20 metres away from the entrance on Thursday and Friday.

Russia will continue its "uncompromising fight with terrorists in Syria", the ministry said.
