SA bushfire victims receive $118,500

More than 60 victims of the deadly bushfire north of Adelaide will share $118,500 to help rebuild their lives.

Almost $120,000 will be distributed among more than 60 South Australians who lost homes in the deadly Pinery bushfire to help rebuild.

It is the latest round of payments made to residents that were affected by the bushfire.

At least $2.1 million has been donated to an appeal since the blaze north of Adelaide late last year, Communities and Social Inclusion Minister Zoe Bettison says.

The bushfire claimed two lives and destroyed almost 500 buildings after burning through more than 82,000 hectares of farming land.
