SA clears way for Airbnb tenants

South Australia's government has moved to ensure residents can list their properties on Airbnb without breaching development rules.

South Australia's government has removed red tape to encourage more visitors to stay in Airbnb properties.

Attorney-General John Rau has issued a ruling which will ensure the listing of properties on Airbnb does not require a change of use under development guidelines.

"This is a very exciting and very contemporary innovation which we are embracing," Mr Rau told reporters on Tuesday.
