SA driver caught with $12,000 drugs, knife

A man has been accused of hiding $12,000 in a headrest in his car, and possessing methamphetamine and a knife in Adelaide.

An Adelaide driver has allegedly been caught with $12,000 stuffed into his headrest, as well as methamphetamine and a knife.

About 60 grams of the drug was allegedly found when police pulled over the 27-year-old in Fairview Park, in the city's northeast, early on Tuesday.

The man was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on June 9 charged with possessing drugs for sale, unlawful possession and carrying an offensive weapon.
