Total fire bans have been declared across much of South Australia as high temperatures and strong winds increase the risk of bushfires.
Thirteen districts across the state are extremely at risk of bushfires due to extreme heat and strong winds, the Country Fire Service says.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a top temperature of 39C for Adelaide with the mercury pushing into the mid-40s in some centres.
