Fire crews have contained blazes which were threatening homes in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula and Barossa Valley, but lightning is now sparking spot fires in the southeast of the state.
Two helicopters and two fixed-wing aircraft, together with 120 firefighters, contained fires at Delamere, Kapunda and nearby Parawa.
The Country Fire Service says more than 150 lightning strikes which hit this afternoon caused the fires.
And although South Australians will have some respite from total fire bans tomorrow as temperatures dip to the mid 20s, the fire danger could lift again on Sunday.

Temperatures are forecast to be 33 on Sunday and 35 on Monday.
