SA house fire caused $200,000 damage

SA police say the cause of a house fire in Port Pirie West is suspicious.

A fire has caused more than $200,000 damage to a house in regional South Australia.

The house, in Port Pirie, was well alight when fire crews arrived about 11pm on Saturday, a Metropolitan Fire Service spokeswoman said.

The fire took 30 minutes to control and no one was injured, but police say the cause of the fire is suspicious.
