About 300 children, who have been waiting years for a specialist medical appointment, will be seen almost immediately thanks to new South Australian government funding.
Health Minister Stephen Wade says the children were all on the waiting list for an ear, nose and throat consultation before 2016 and some have been waiting up to five years.
"While these cases are not classed as urgent, waiting five years for a first appointment is unacceptable, which is why we are taking immediate action," Mr Wade said.
