SA man arrested over wheelie bin murder

An Adelaide man is set to be charged with the murder of Daniel Hind, whose body was found in a wheelie bin last month.

A man has been arrested over the death of Daniel Hind, whose body was found dumped in an Adelaide wheelie bin after he went missing more than a month ago.

The 34-year-old from Salisbury North has been refused bail and is expected to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with murder.

The body of Mr Hind, 29, was found at Waterloo Corner on September 24 and he was last seen near the Whitehorse Inn Hotel in Bolivar on August 28.

Police earlier revealed Mr Hind's credit card was used to buy alcohol at the hotel shortly after he left and his phone was last used to text an acquaintance early the next morning.

It is unclear whether Mr Hind made the purchase or sent the message himself.

Police say further searches relevant to the investigation will be conducted on Thursday.
