SA man charged over couch-strapped car

An Adelaide man who allegedly drove an unregistered car with two couches strapped to the back has been charged with a range of traffic offences.

A man has been arrested after allegedly driving with two couches strapped to his car in Adelaide while his licence was expired and the car unregistered.

Police pulled the man over on Saturday in Christie Downs after spotting his weighed-down Holden Berlina, discovering that his licence had lapsed and his vehicle was neither registered or insured.

The 37-year-old Morphett Vale man is on bail and will face the Christies Beach Magistrates Court in November charged with a range of traffic offences.
