SA man contracts meningococcal disease

A South Australian man has been hospitalised with meningococcal disease, health authorities say.

The 19-year-old from rural SA is in a stable condition after contracting the B strain of the disease.

Three people who had contact with the patient before he was hospitalised have been directed to take clearance antibiotics.
