SA opens new Shanghai trade office

The South Australian government is opening a new trade office in Shanghai.

South Australia has opened a new trade and investment office in Shanghai.

Trade Minister David Ridgway says the new office is part of a $12 million investment in five such centres to help local companies access markets in China, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.

"Like many parts of the world, China and South Australia are continually adapting to a fast-changing global environment and building on our successful relationship to grow exports, attract investment and create jobs," Mr Ridgway said in a statement on Tuesday.
