The nation's longest serving current state leader, South Australia's Premier Mike Rann, has taken a devastating hit to his personal standing with voters.
A Newspoll has found that the man who was once the most popular premier has dragged Labor's vote down to its lowest level of support in 16 years.
In 2010 43 per cent of voters were satisfied with his personal performance compared to just 30 per cent in 2011, News Limited reported on Thursday.

The SA Liberals, meanwhile, have gone from 51.6 per cent to 56 per cent.
