SA river death identity still a mystery

South Australian police are still trying to identify a man found dead in a river on Thursday, releasing a computer-generated image of him.

A computer-generated image of a man found dead in an Adelaide river has been released by police in an effort to identify him.

The body was found in the River Torrens on Thursday and police believe two women seen talking to a man at the Adelaide Oval footbridge on Tuesday night may be able to assist investigators in their search for answers.

Police are treating the death as suspicious and are yet to identify the man or determine how he died.

Anyone who recognises the image or has any information on the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at https://sa.crimestoppers.com.au/
