SA to allow second appeals for criminal convictions

South Australia is making history with reforms that will allow prisoners a second chance to appeal their convictions.

SBS's Adelaide correspondent Karen Ashford reports it's the most significant change to Australia's criminal appeals laws in a century and experts say other states and territories are likely to follow suit.
