SA woman has meningococcal disease

A South Australian woman is in a stable condition in hospital with meningococcal disease.

A 30-year-old South Australian woman has been admitted to hospital in a stable condition after being diagnosed with meningococcal disease.

She was confirmed to have the B strain of the disease, SA Health said.

There have been five cases of meningococcal disease in SA so far this year compared to eight at this time last year and a total of 34 in 2018.
