Police in Chicago are on the lookout for troubled Irish singer Sinead O'Connor after concerns for her safety were raised.
Irish authorities contacted Chicago police saying the whereabouts of the 49-year-old singer is not known and there are concerns for her welfare.
A spokesman says the case is not being treated as a formal missing persons case, but police have been told to keep their eyes open for the singer, who has a history of mental health problems.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer sparked a police search in May after she failed to return from a bike ride in Chicago but was later found safe.
