South Africa are relishing a pressure-laden finish to the ODI tri-series in the West Indies, where they must defeat the hosts to advance to Monday's final.
Australia's opposition in the series decider will be decided on Saturday morning (AEST), when the two other teams in the tournament clash in Barbados.
The Proteas will head home if they're unable to topple West Indies, who are sweating on skipper Jason Holder's hamstring injury.
South Africa's reputation of capitulating in knockout fixtures is well known but skipper AB de Villiers says his side enjoys the added heat of must-win contests.
"We have played quite a few close series in the past where we have had a few must-win games," de Villiers said.
"In our last series against England we were 2-0 down with three to play and we won all three.
"We have been in this situation before. We enjoy these kind of situations. We like to bring the fight when it matters most.
"It's a great opportunity for us to prove that we are that kind of team under pressure. I am looking forward to it."
Holder limped off Kensington Oval after bowling two overs in West Indies' loss to Australia earlier this week.
The allrounder remains in serious doubt for the crunch clash but is yet to give up hope of facing the Proteas.
"I'm still undergoing assessment," Holder said on match eve.
"I'm feeling a lot better than I thought I would be. We'll make a final decision tomorrow before the game."
