Saints call schoolboy into AFL battle

Schoolboy forward Josh Battle will make his AFL debut, replacing suspended Tim Membrey in the St Kilda line-up to take on Essendon on Friday night.

St Kilda teenager Josh Battle is making the most of his school holidays after being called into their AFL side to face Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.

The 18-year-old year 12 student will replace suspended forward Tim Membrey.

In other selection news, injured ruckman Billy Longer is out with Tom Hickey getting a start as the Saints gun for their fifth successive win.
