Controversial Sydney businessman Salim Mehajer has been handed an 18-month good behaviour bond for intimidating his ex-wife when he emailed and messaged her in 2017.
Magistrate Jacqueline Trad at Burwood Local Court on Thursday recorded a conviction against the 31-year-old after finding him guilty in April.
Mehajer appeared in court via video link.

He was returned to custody late last week after breaching his bail conditions for separate charges.
He was arrested at Bankstown Police Station before appearing in Bankstown Local Court, a NSW Police spokeswoman told AAP.
Mehajer was then released again on court bail, with the matter adjourned to June 6.
The alleged breach involved the former Auburn mayor using two mobile phones, according to the Nine Network.
Mehajer in April was granted bail on his fourth attempt after spending two months behind bars over allegations he staged a car crash on his way to court for an assault case in October 2017.
In the weeks following his release, he was found guilty of electoral fraud relating to a 2012 plot that also involved his younger sister Fatima.
Mehajer vowed to appeal the decision and expressed "huge" confidence in the justice system following the ruling.
