Australian woman Sara Connor says she is in a "nightmare" and her British boyfriend, who she is co-accused of killing a Bali police officer, is "not an aggressive person".
"I would love to go back to my kids and to Australia ... I'm sure they need their mother."
"It's a nightmare."
Ms Connor made the comments following a hearing on Thursday on the alleged murder of Bali police officer Wayan Sudarsa, whose bloodied body was discovered early on August 17 on Kuta Beach.
The 46-year-old mother of two from Byron Bay has maintained she did nothing but try to separate Mr Sudarsa from her British boyfriend, David Taylor.

The court has previously heard the pair became embroiled in a confrontation after Taylor accused Mr Sudarsa of stealing Connor's purse, which she lost on the beach.
"I was there to separate them and I got attacked. I got scared and left them there," Connor told reporters.
Speaking of Taylor, who she has been photographed with in Kerobokan prison where they are being held, she said: "He is not that kind of guy. He is not an aggressive person."
Earlier on Thursday, motorbike taxi driver Gede Suartama told Denpasar Court he saw Connor on the night of the alleged murder and she had asked him to take her to the police.
But her singlet had blood on it, so he refused.
"I asked him twice," Connor told the court in response to the testimony.
"I tried to jump on the motorbike twice and told him, 'Take me to the police station'. He asked me for money.
"That is when I told him my bag was stolen."
Surfboard and umbrella rental shop owner Zaenal Rakhi El Faqih told Taylor's trial on Wednesday he saw the British man about 1.45am on August 17 on the road near Kuta Beach.
Taylor, he said, was holding a flashlight and was "covered with blood".
Mr Faqih told the court he thought the 35-year-old was drunk and had been in a fight so he did not stop.
Taylor and Connor face charges of murder, fatal assault in company and assault causing death, with prosecutors alleging they attacked Wayan Sudarsa on Kuta Beach on the night of August 16 and left his lifeless body in the sand.
Connor will return to court on Tuesday, and Taylor will return on Wednesday.
