The South Australian government has reaffirmed a $20 million election pledge to restore services at Adelaide's Modbury Hospital.
The funding will pay for a high-dependency unit, which was downgraded under the former Labor government's controversial Transforming Health reforms.
"This is a crucial hospital for the people of South Australia. It is right in the middle of an area with a growing population and an ageing population," Premier Steven Marshall told reporters on Tuesday.
