Nineteen people were killed when a bus filled with Egyptian pilgrims rolled over in Saudi Arabia, Egypt's state-run news agency says.

The bus was carrying 43 Egyptians and a driver of unknown nationality when it crashed on Saturday, according to MENA. It says 25 people were injured in the incident.

People on board the bus included two children, Egypt's Tourism Ministry said in a statement, without providing further details.

The pilgrims were performing Umrah, a smaller Muslim pilgrimage that, unlike the annual Hajj pilgrimage, can be done at any time of the year.
