Save the Children raided by Nauru police

Save the Children has been raided by Nauru police, seizing electronic devices belonging to staff.

Nauru police have raided the offices of charity Save the Children.

Nauruan authorities seized computers and phones during the raid over the weekend, while other contract workers at the Australian-run detention centre also had belongings confiscated.

A spokeswoman for Save the Children said the organisation had no reason to believe staff had acted inappropriately and was assisting Nauru police with inquiries.
