The final interview comedian Robin Williams gave before his death will feature in an upcoming documentary by American broadcaster, PBS.
SBS has today confirmed it will air Robin Williams Remembered, a tribute to Williams' life, his career in stand-up comedy and his dramatic work.
Oscar-winning actor and comedian Williams, 63, took his own life on August 12, 2014 after a battle with depression.
According to PBS: "This tribute to actor and comedian Robin Williams features one of his last full-length interviews for the PIONEERS OF TELEVISION series, including never-before-seen comments on his life and comedic and dramatic work, as well as tributes to Williams by those who knew and worked with him, and clips from his career."
Former Mork & Mindy co-star Pam Dawber is one of many stars interviewed for the documentary, including comedians Whoopi Goldberg and Jimmie Walker.
"We were fortunate to sit down with Robin Williams," the documentary's executive producer Steve Boettcher said.
"We wanted to share with viewers the Robin that we saw ... the very unassuming, caring, genuine and gentle man who took his acting seriously, but was able to make others laugh.
"We hope this special provides more insight to this incredible man, in his own words."
Williams shot to fame for his madcap standup act and his offbeat alien Mork, but his most famous roles showed a depth of pain behind the comedian's mask.
The wildly popular funnyman, whose career spanned more than three decades, was known for rapid-fire, stream-of-consciousness improvisations and impersonations.
On screen, his characters were often offbeat and eccentric - from the zany alien Mork from the planet Ork, the television role in the 1970s that first catapulted him to fame, to the divorced dad who transforms himself into a elderly British nanny in Mrs Doubtfire.
His skill at imitating voices was often showcased - as in his portrayal of the genie in the 1992 Disney adaptation of Aladdin, in which his character runs through a string of celebrity impressions.
But he also found success in darker roles, including an Oscar-winning turn as psychologist Sean Maguire, a Vietnam veteran and widower who counsels troubled genius Will Hunting.
'Robin Williams Remembered' airs Sunday 5 October, 10.15pm on SBS ONE
