A New York supermarket is using enhanced aromas to convince customers to buy more food products.
A Net Cost supermarket in Brooklyn, has machines mounted on its walls that fill the air with intoxicating smells of milk chocolate or fresh-baked bread, among others.
The machines are part of a marketing campaign that targets a shopper's sense of smell.
The store's merchandise coordinator, Angelina Khristichenko, told CNN she installed the machines two months ago after hearing about them overseas.
