Ben Panangian, 32, was allegedly in possession of marijuana when he arrived at a Nusa Dua address police were raiding for drugs on August 20.
A later search of his Kuta home allegedly turned up more marijuana, police say.
He faces a maximum 12 years in jail if found guilty, and the allegations could also affect his Australian girlfriend.
Corby, 37, must stay away from drugs and crime as part of her parole conditions, which also require her to stay in Bali under monthly supervision.
But a Denpasar police spokesman on Friday would not confirm whether Corby would be investigated, saying the pair's relationship was not clear.
Corby met Panangian, a surfer, behind bars in Kerobokan jail.
He was released ahead of her, but since her release in February, they have been photographed together in Kuta.
