A schoolgirl has been stabbed by a fellow student at a private girls' school in Adelaide.
The injured girl suffered a laceration to her shoulder in the incident on Wednesday afternoon and has been taken to the Women's and Children's Hospital for treatment.
Her injury is not life-threatening and police are speaking with her alleged attacker, who is also a student at the school.
Police said the incident occurred inside the St Dominic's Priory grounds in North Adelaide and that both students were known to each other.
It's the second stabbing at a South Australian school in little more than a week.
On July 24, an 18-year-old student was alleged to have stabbed a 17-year-old girl in the back.
Amber Brea Rover was charged with an aggravated count of assault causing serious harm over the incident at the Renmark High School and was remanded in custody at a bedside court hearing.
