Scooter rally disrupts Brisbane traffic

Queensland Police were less than impressed when a large group of scooter riders caused traffic problems in central Brisbane.

A large group of young scooter riders organised via social media was anything but social for Brisbane drivers and police.

Police were called on Sunday afternoon when the group started weaving in and out of traffic and going down the wrong side of the road as they pushed their way from The Valley and city to Kangaroo Point.

Police, who weren't told of the event, arrested a number of scooter riders and were calling parents to pick up their children.
