The Perth Scorchers women's team will be aiming to erase the painful memories of last season when they line up in Sunday's WBBL final.
The Scorchers only just scraped into the finals following their final-round win over the Renegades.
And they are now into the title decider after crushing the Sydney Thunder by 27 runs in Thursday's semi-final at Optus Stadium.
The Scorchers posted 2-148, before restricting the Thunder to 8-121.
They will now take on either the Sydney Sixers or Adelaide Strikers in the title decider.
Perth were beaten by the Sixers in last season's final at the WACA - blowing a winning position on the way to a seven-run loss.
Opening batter Nicole Bolton said her and her teammates are keen to avenge that defeat.
"We're on cloud nine at the moment," Bolton said after beating the Thunder.
"When we were coming back from Melbourne after the win over the Renegades, we weren't even sure if we were going to make the finals.
"We had a home final last season, and to lose by seven runs in a T20 game is nothing. You sort of lose sleep over it.
"But we've had really good experience in finals now. We've got everyone coming into form.
"We'll be looking to avenge what happened last year. Whoever we play, we'll be ready to go."
Scorchers openers Elyse Villani (38 off 37) and Bolton (37 off 26) combined for a 65-run opening stand to help set up the Scorchers' win over the Thunder.
The duo have now combined for 996 runs this season, with Villani 519) becoming just the fourth player to score more than 500 runs in a WBBL campaign.
Bolton also snared the key scalp of Rachael Haynes for one with her offbreak spin.
"I don't turn the ball. People need to realise I don't turn the ball," Bolton said with a laugh.
"I don't classify myself as a bowler. I'm more of a part timer.
"But whenever I get given the opportunity, I love it. And to knock off such a classy player like Rachael, there's no better way to start."
