Scotland have made four changes, two enforced by suspensions, to their starting lineup for the Rugby World Cup quarter-final against Australia on Sunday (Monday AEDT).
Hooker Ross Ford and lock Jonny Gray were suspended for three weeks for a dangerous tackle in the 36-33 win over Samoa last weekend, ruling them out of the remainder of the World Cup.
Scotland appealed against the severity of the bans but neither player was included in the match-day squad, even provisionally, to play the Wallabies.
Fraser Brown replaced Ford and Tim Swinson moved off the bench to take over from Gray.
In two other changes, Blair Cowan joined the starting lineup on the blindside flank in place of Ryan Wilson and Pete Horne replaced Matt Scott at inside center.
Scotland (15-1): Stuart Hogg, Tommy Seymour, Mark Bennett, Pete Horne, Sean Maitland, Finn Russell, Greig Laidlaw (capt); David Denton, John Hardie, Blair Cowan, Richie Gray, Tim Swinson, WP Nel, Fraser Brown, Alasdair Dickinson. Reserves: Kevin Bryce, Gordon Reid, Jon Welsh, Alasdair Strokosch, Josh Strauss, Henry Pyrgos, Richie Vernon, Sean Lamont.
