Sea Shepherd slams Australia over whales

Anti-whaling group Sea Shepherd says Australia has broken its promise to help end Japan killing whales in the Southern Ocean.

Anti-whaling group Sea Shepherd says Australia has broken its promise to help end Japan killing whales in the Southern Ocean.

Sea Shepherd Australia's chairman, former Greens leader Bob Brown, says Japan continues to flout the laws designed to protect the world's largest mammal.

He spoke with Andrea Nierhoff about why the group is so determined to stop what he describes as slaughter.
