Police have been excavating parts of the Macquarie River bank at Butlers Falls, south of Dubbo, since last Wednesday.
Accused murderer Malcolm Naden was escorted on Saturday from his supermax jail cell to Butlers Falls to help in the search for the remains and then returned to jail yesterday.

Naden is the prime suspect in the murder of his cousin, Ms Nolan, but won't be going there today.
A police spokesman says two major floods have been through since 2005, which is hampering the search.
Nolan was 24 when she disappeared from Dubbo in January 2005 and her abandoned Ford Falcon was found next to the river the following day.
