Search for Tas flood victim continues

The search continues for a man still missing more than a fortnight after he was swept away by rising floodwaters in central Tasmania.

Police are continuing to search for the body of flood victim Trevor Foster who was swept away from his central Tasmanian farm more than a fortnight ago.

Despite widespread searches of the Ouse River, the 81-year-old has not been seen since he was knocked from his feet by rising waters on June 6.

Efforts to find him continued on Thursday, a day after search crews found the body of Peter Watson, 63, in the South Esk River after his van was inundated by water on June 7 and grandmother Mary Kathleen Alford, 75, was also killed in the floods.
