A 55-year-old woman who went missing in Western Australia's Pilbara region after she walked away from a bogged car has been found and airlifted for a medical assessment.
Hazel Stafford left the vehicle about 20km east of Pannawonica in the early hours of Wednesday morning and began to walk back to the town.
Ms Stafford, who had been a passenger, was believed to have been without food, water or communication equipment.
