A group of Australian medical personnel has gathered in Darwin ahead of a mercy trip to the Philippines in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan.
The team of doctors, nurses, paramedics and midwives will work out of a field hospital at the Tacloban airport for up to two weeks.
It'll be the second Australian medical team to assist in disaster struck areas.
Ryan Emery spoke with paediatrician and emergency doctor Helen Mead who says it's not really clear what they'll be facing.
